"Mamba does the Mambo"

Films: Venom (1981)

Alias: None

Type: Natural

Location: Haunted home

Height/Weight: That of an average Black Mamba

Affiliation: Neutral

Summary: For every crime and every heist, there's always a spanner in the works. In this case, a simple ransom became a nightmare when one of the most venomous snakes got thrown into the mix.

History: An unassuming ten-year old just wanted a pet. But due to a mix-up, a black mamba destined for a lab got to his house instead. Oh, and he was the subject of a ransom by international criminals. But now the victims, the thieves, and the police are having to tread carefully, as the mamba is in the crawlspace, prepared to strike when need be.

Notable Kills: You will never hear the phrase, "trouser snake", the same way again after this film.

Final Fate: Eventually, the conflicting plotlines of the criminals and the mamba practically smash into each other, as the thieves are dealt with one by one by a combination of bullets and snake bites. Unfortunately, the mamba is killed by police while the lead crook dies from venom overdose. Fortunately, the snake left behind some eggs in the vents, and they've just hatched...

Powers/Abilities: None

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 4-Imagine an entire building being at the mercy of not only crooks, but a serpent whose name strikes fear into all who live in the Sub-Sahara. At the very least, she dealt the worst to the bad guys, and went out saving many.

Trivia: -The black mamba is one of the longest venomous snakes from head to tail, as well as one of the deadliest. When it strikes, it lashes out with rapid-fire bites that inject a venom full of neurotoxin, capable of killing a man in less than a day without help. With all of that said, the black mamba is usually prone to just slithering away from humans, and the antivenom is widely available.

-Tobe Hooper was originally meant to direct this film, but "creative differences" made him stop.

"Hey! This isn't France! It's much nicer here!"
Insert Motorcity reference here.

Weirdest stripper club ad ever.

What you can't see can indeed hurt you.

They couldn't even get the snake right for the English DVD cover!

Venom erodes us all.

As photoshopped by a 5 year old who had never even seen a Black Mamba.

Ouch. She's hitting the bottle hard.
